Invisalign

Until now, the options for adult teeth straightening involved either long and expensive orthodontic treatments or having veneers and crowns. With braces however there are brackets attached to your teeth with a wire going across as well which appears very unsightly. On the other hand for crowns and veneers some tooth reduction/cutting would be needed to straighten. With the arrival new techniques like Invisalign®, all this has changed.Invisalign® is an alternative to braces which straightens you teeth with  a series of clear removable aligners that have no wires, no brackets and interruptions, which means you can continue your everyday life, with not having to worry about cutting out certain types of foods, and with the discomfort and difficulty in oral hygiene, which means you can brush and floss as normal.

Achieve a straight smile you’ve always wanted with the use of Invisalign® which straightens your teeth without anyone even noticing.

Invisalign®  is a cost-effective, removable orthodontic appliance that moves teeth in a more aesthetic manner. It straightens teeth using a series of nearly invisible, removable aligners that are custom-made specifically for your teeth. As you replace each aligner every two weeks, your teeth will move – little by little, week by week, gradually moving towards the projected final position.

Comfortable, clear and removable – Invisalign®  transforms your smile without disrupting your life. Something that over 3 million people worldwide have already discovered.

People love the fact that they can have their teeth straightened without the inconvenience and unsightly appearance of brakect used in conventional braces. Only certified Invisalign® dentists can provide this treatment. Dr A Babi has achieved this certification and provides Invisalign® treatment, here in Dubbo.

Your confidence.Your outlook.Your life. And with Invisalign®, achieving the smile you always dreamed of doesn’t have to be a big deal. In fact, it barely has to impact your day-to-day life at all.

Procedure of Invisalign®

Invisalign® utilises state of the art 3D computer imaging technology to create a vision of the completed treatment plan from beginning to end.  Through your needs to achieve the best results, various custom moulded ‘aligners’ (which are clear, and removable) will be produced specific to you mouth which will gradually positioning your teeth to that perfect smile. Each aligner is worn for a period of 2 weeks, which is then replaced by the next aligner in the sequence thereafter. At the end of the aligner sequence your teeth would have gradually moved to achieve that perfect smile. Invisalign®can be used in cases such as crowding, shifted or protruded teeth or space loss between teeth. Each treatment may vary depending on the severity of the case and will thus determine for how long it will go for.  Like any treatment, Invisalign®  may not be for everyone, hence why a detailed consultation along with photographic record has to be carried out before the treatment to ensure that best results are obtained.

What will it cost?

A smile can help your confidence, self-esteem and happiness. When you think about it, improving your smile goes beyond just the cosmetic. It is about doing something for yourself – so you can be more…you.

But we understand that price is a very important consideration. As with all orthodontic treatment, the cost of Invisalign® is dependent on the specifics of your individual case: such as the complexity of your straightening issue and the required length of treatment. This means you will not receive an exact cost until you visit an Invisalign provider.

As a general rule, the cost is comparable to traditional fixed braces. And although only an Invisalign® provider is able to fully determine your cost, prices for Invisalign® treatment are generally between $5,500 – $7,500. However, if only minor tooth movement is required, prices could start from $2,500.
